NASA Guest Account Services Transition to Login.gov

NASA Guest Account Services – User Procedures

The NASA Technology Transfer (T2) web applications login process is managed by the Agency's Guest Account Services for a better and more secure account management experience. To gain access to any publicly available T2 web applications, all external, non-NASA users must utilize the Agency's Guest Account Services located at https://guest.nasa.gov.

To improve security and streamline access, NASA is upgrading its identity management system by transitioning Guest Services to the secure General Services Administration (GSA) Login.gov platform. As part of this security enhancement, NASA is discontinuing legacy NASA Guest usernames/passwords, Google login options, and non-NASA Smartcard registrations. Moving forward, all new and existing guest users must authenticate exclusively through GSA Login.gov.

If you are an existing guest user, you must create or use a Login.gov account with the exact same email address as your current NASA Guest account; this ensures your new credentials automatically link to your profile, preserving your existing data.

New users can simply register a new profile directly at Login.gov using their preferred email address to begin accessing T2 web applications.

This document provides step-by-step procedures for existing NASA Guest users transitioning to Login.gov, as well as registration instructions for new users. For additional information, users can visit https://guest.nasa.gov/help and https://www.login.gov/help/.
