Startup NASA Series: Rosotics, Inc.
About the Event

Join us for the next Startup NASA Series virtual event. This webinar series provides an opportunity for you to hear about early-stage companies that have licensed technologies developed at NASA and are working to commercialize these innovations.

On March 16th at 2pm ET, representatives from Rosotics, Inc. will be presenting on their experience working with NASA. Rosotics produces hyper-efficient metal additive manufacturing solutions that solve tough problems in industrial engineering. A pioneer of swarm robotics, they enable today’s manufacturers to additively manufacture structures that are normally difficult or impossible to print.

During this free virtual event, company representatives will share their story with you, including how they got involved with NASA and where they are currently in the development of their new products and/or systems.

Presenter: Christian LaRosa and Austin Thurman

Christian LaRosa

An FAA-licensed remote pilot, Christian’s background is primarily in the space of aerospace engineering and bionics (biologically-inspired engineering). He has previously served on a student-led effort to develop a Pulsed-Plasma Thruster (PPT) under support from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Raytheon. Christian also participated in NASA Lucy’s L’SPACE NPWEE, developing a new method of lunar seismic data collection with the Marshall Space Flight Center. He carries intern experience with the Port of Tampa Bay in international logistics. His contribution is in leading the team in line with a technically complex vision.

Austin Thurman

Austin's background is primarily in the finance and accounting sectors, believing in scaling the most powerful ideas from concept to market. He values integrity and a razor-sharp attention to detail.
