Dr. Peter McAlindon is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a faculty advisor in the Entrepreneurial Scholar of Distinction program. He mentors student teams as they identify commercial applications and develop go-to-market strategies for NASA technologies.  McAlindon designed the Integrated Capstone Experience, a 32-week experiential learning program for second-year students in Rollins College’s Experiential MBA program. This course blends traditional instruction with hands-on activities, allowing students to choose between a consulting project or a NASA technology commercialization project. They develop and launch a startup. Over the years, this program has produced several startups, including ecoSPEARS, a cleantech company using patented NASA technology to remove toxins from sediments, soil, and groundwater.
